GDV visit

We went to guide dogs victoria friday and gave the working with children card to the manager there. He copied it showed us over the premesis and said as I am not really fussed in the colour genter or type of dog i get. I am looking to soon get one. Possible as early as the next class. If I am offered one while I am at uni, I will take it

I am off to guide dogs vic tomorrow to show them my WWC to prove I am drug free and am a person who is an individaul. I hope i ge tthe dog asap as it is getting almost impossible to mobilitate arounf now days.

the dog is coming

I got an email today that the guide dog has been appoved and I am on hte waiting list for one. I have got to the last step and it has taken 2 years 7 months. I will keep you posted as to how it is coming along in this blog

hello everyone,

Just to let you know, I am still waiting for my guide dog to be approved. They want letters stating I have not got any drugs charges as I have been on so many eye drops, it is beleived I am a drug addict.
I am getting these and hope it will not be too much longer til I get my dog

I got a letter this week saying I am on the waiting list to get a dog. I am so excited and I cannot ait to get my own guide dog. watch this blog for the update as to when i will go for training
